Co-editions of atlases

We are delighted that our atlases exist in many different languages. We design the atlases to make the co-edition process as economical and straightforward as possible. Whilst the atlases are full-colour throughout, the text is in black so we can print several different language editions alongside one another, changing only one plate. Our designers are skillful practitioners and experienced at inputting a new language text in to existing artwork. We have worked with the same Hong Kong based-printer for many years and never cease to be delighted by the care they take, from receipt of files to shipping and delivery, and the high-quality books they produce. If you are interested in a co-edition, please contact Rights department to discuss.

Licences for atlases in non-European languages

For editions in non-European languages, such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew and Russian, we sell a licence to print and publish that edition. We supply a full copy of the original artwork files so that publishers can insert their own text and re-arrange pagination as necessary. If you would like to discuss this option, please contact Adrian Weston.

Permission to reproduce maps

We are very happy to see maps reproduced from our atlases in newspapers, journals and books. We can supply high resolution files to fit your needs, and customise the map as necessary – for example separating the graphics and page text if you need only the map, removing page numbers, etc. Please contact our Rights department to discuss your requirements.
