Jonathan Kemp will talk about and read from his new novel, in which he draws on a brilliant literary tradition of madness, incarceration and escape to deliver a Mrs Dalloway for the modern age – and the triumphant coming-of-age of a woman in her sixties.

Ghosting is Jonathan’s third book. His debut novel, London Triptych (2010), was shortlisted for the inaugural Green Carnation Prize and won the Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award. Jonathan lives in London and teaches at Birkbeck, University of London.

The event will be British Sign Language interpreted.
