'Home is where the hurt is...' – Elizabeth Haynes at Felixstowe Book Festival

Share

Elizabeth Haynes, Myriad’s award-winning crime writer (Into the Darkest Corner, Human Remains and Revenge of the Tide), will be at Felixstowe’s annual book festival to discuss the emergence of ‘domestic-noir’ – a sub-genre of contemporary crime writing that spins chilling stories in which the home and family are challenging and dangerous places.

The event is an hour long panel where Elizabeth will be joined by writers Julia Crouch and Ruth Dugdall to discuss domestic-noir’s popularity and try and  figure out exactly what it is that makes it so frightening. Of course, you, the audience, will have the opportunity to join in the discussion and books will be available for purchase and signing when the session ends.
