Hannah Vincent

Myriad author Hannah Vincent will be reading from her novel Alarm Girl at a Needlewriters literary event in Lewes on 18 June.

Needlewriters is a regular literary event showcasing local Sussex poets and authors held at The Needlemakers in Lewes.

Steeped in the dry heat of a South African summer, Alarm Girl is a keen and touching debut novel that seamlessly interweaves the voices of Indigo and her mother, and beautifully captures the human desire to belong: in a family, in a country, in your own skin. Shortlisted for the Hookline Novel Competition and the Writer’s Retreat Competition, Alarm Girl is an unmissable tale about relationships and one girl’s struggle to make sense of the world.

Hannah Vincent will be reading alongside authors Stephen Bone and Beth Miller in this Needlewriters event hosted by Clare Best.

Tickets are £5/£3 concsessions. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.45pm start.
