We’re delighted to be attending the Graphic Medicine conference in Dundee this year, with authors Ian Williams, Nicola Streeten and Paula Knight. Myriad will be selling its core Graphic Medicine titles alongside US publisher Penn State University Press, with whom it shares three authors. There will be copies of the newly-published Henny Beaumont‘s Hole in the Heart and Nye Wright‘s Things to Do in a Retirement Home Trailer Park. The conference is the flagship event showcasing comics narratives that focus on the medical humanities. The term Graphic Medicine was coined by Ian Williams, who co-founded the website graphicmedicine.org with M K Czerwiec. The conference takes place over three days, and you can find details here.
