Myriad and Waterstones Piccadilly are co-hosting a special evening celebrating the lasting influence  of American author, Nelson Algren, whose passionate affair with French feminist Simone de Beauvoir is the subject of Douglas Cowie’s novel, Noon in Paris, Eight in Chicago.

Douglas Cowie will be in conversation with Richard Naiff, followed by an exclusive screening of the acclaimed documentary of Algren’s work, ‘Nelson Algren: The End is Nothing, the Road is All’,  featuring Kurt Vonnegut, Studs Terkel and Paul Buhle.
